Pelatihan Pemanfaatan Laboratorium Virtual pada Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran IPA di Kecamatan Katingan Hilir

Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk pelatihan dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan guru-guru IPA di Kecamatan Katingan Hilir dalam melaksanakan praktikum. Kendala utama melaksanakan praktikum disebabkan oleh keterbatasan peralatan laboratorium di sekolah. Tujuan kegiatan pelatihan adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru-guru IPA dalam memanfaatkan sekaligus merancang LKPD berbantuan laboratorium virtual. Sasaran kegiatan adalah 15 orang guru IPA jenjang SMP yang tergabung dalam MGMP IPA Kecamatan Katingan Hilir Kabupaten Katingan. Seluruh kegiatan pelatihan dipusatkan di SMPN 4 Katingan Hilir. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan selama dua kali pertemuan pada bulan Agustus 2023. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan dapat memberikan hasil yang positif bagi peserta. Hasil positif dari kegiatan pelatihan ditunjukkan dengan hasil penilaian akhir pada LKPD yang disusun peserta dengan rata-rata skor LKPD sebesar 92,5 dalam kategori sangat baik. Seluruh peserta memiliki kemampuan menggunakan laboratorium virtual pada beberapa topik-topik IPA dan melaporkan hasil praktiknya. Seluruh peserta pelatihan memberikan respon positif terhadap kegiatan pelatihan.
