Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui: (1) persepsi mahasiswa terhadap peran Dosen Pembimbing Akademik; (2) persepsi Dosen Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris terhadap peran Dosen Pembimbing Akademik . Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik yang digunakan adalah triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi keabsahan data. Persepsi mahasiswa terhadap peran Dosen PA sebagai pemandu dari hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara umum sudah baik. Persepsi Dosen terhadap perannya sebagai konselor tergolong baik.
