Peningkatan Keterampilan Pemecahan Masalah melalui Pembelajaran dengan Modul Berbasis Potensi Lokal pada Calon Guru Biologi

Abstrak
Kemampuan dalam memecahkan masalah merupakan kemampuan yang sangat
diperlukan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari atau dalam pekerjaan. Pembelajaran semestinya memberikan akses kepada peserta didik untuk memiliki pengalaman-pengalaman belajar yang memberikan kesempatan pada proses pemecahan masalah. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan pemecahan masalah melalui pembelajaran berbasis potensi lokal pada calon guru Biologi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 2 siklus. Masing- masing siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap, yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Alat pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan rata-rata keterampilan pemecahan masalah dari siklus 1 ke siklus 2 sebesar 3,13. Peningkatan keterampilan pemecahan masalah pada kelima aspek, yaitu: aspek keterampilan mengevaluasi masalah sebesar 0,37; mengelola masalah 0,32; mengambil keputusan 1,00; pemecahan masalah 0,76; dan mengevaluasi kesimpulan 0,67. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan pembelajaran berbasis potensi lokal meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah pada calon guru Biologi.

Abstract
Problem solving ability is the fundamental’s ability that is indispensable in daily life or at work. Learning should give learners access to have learning experiences that provide an opportunity in problem solving processes. The aimed of this research was to determine problem solving skills through local potential based learning in biology teacher candidates. The research method was classroom action research with two cycles. Each cycle consists of three stages were planing, action, observation and reflection. The tool of data collection was of observation sheet. The result of this study showed that problem solving skill was increase in the 1st cycle to to 2nd cycle was 3.13. Improving problem solving skills on the five aspects of skills were: aspects of evaluating the problems of 0.37; managing problems 0,32; taking decision 1.00; problem solving 0.76; and evaluating conclusions 0.67. It can be concluded that local potential based learning can improve problem solving skills in biology teacher candidates.
