MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STUDENT TEAMS ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION (STAD) DENGAN KONTEKSTUAL BERBANTUAN POWER POINT DITINJAU DARI GAYA KOGNITIF

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu, yang terdiri 2 variabel bebas yaitu model pembelajaran dan gaya kognitif siswa, dan 1 variabel terikat yaitu hasil prestasi siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA kota Pontianak. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan stratified cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan datanya dilakukan melalui kajian dokumen sekolah, angket gaya kognitif dan tes pilihan ganda. Analisis butir soal pada tes prestasi dan angket gaya kognitif terdiri dari analisis daya beda, tingkat kesukaran dan konsistensi internal. Analisis instrumen yang dilakukan pada tes yaitu validitas isi dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu: uji keseimbangan, uji prasyarat analisis (uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas), uji hipotesis penelitian dengan menggunakan analisis variansi dua jalan dengan sel tak sama.Dari data analisis disimpulkan: (1) prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD kontekstual power point menghasilkan prestasi yang lebih baik dibanding dengan siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD power point; (2) prestasi siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif FD lebih baik dibanding dengan siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif; (3) pada masing-masing model pembelajaran, prestasi belajar gaya kognitif FD lebih baik daripada gaya kognitif FI; (4) pada masing-masing gaya kognitif, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan kontekstual power pointlebih baik dibanding dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD tanpa kontekstual power point.
