PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR BIPA BERBASIS LINTAS BUDAYA MELALUI PENDEKATAN KONTEKSTUALKOMUNIKATIF

Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar BIPA berbasis lintas budaya dengan berfokus pada budaya lokal Malang melalui pendekatan kontekstual-komunikatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pengembangan penelitian Borg dan Gall (R & D) yang diadaptasi ke dalam enam tahap penelitian: (1) penelitian awal dan pengumpulan informasi, (2) perencanaan, (3) pengembangan format produk awal, (4) uji coba produk, dan (5) revisi produk. Data penelitian ini berupa data numerik dan data verbal (transkrip wawancara, hasil analisis bahan ajar, kuesioner, hasil observasi, dan catatan, komentar, kritik atau saran dari subjek tes).
Mengingat data yang diperoleh berupa data numerik dan data verbal, analisis dilakukan dalam bentuk analisis kuantitatif dan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini berupa bahan ajar BIPA berbasis lintas budaya tingkat pemula yang menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual-komunikatif. Dalam hal ini budaya yang digunakan sebagai referensi adalah budaya lokal Malang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor uji coba ahli mencapai 84,2%, rata-rata skor uji coba praktisi mencapai 92%, dan skor uji coba lapangan rata-rata mencapai 95%. Oleh karena itu, buku ini dapat dikategorikan sangat layak untuk diterapkan.
