NOVEL BANGKITLAH TAMBAN SALAI KARYA YAS WIWO DAN EDDY AMRAN (Tinjauan Sosiologi Sastra Dan Nilai Pendidikan)

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan latar belakang sosial pengarang, faktor sosial budaya masyarakat, tanggapan pembaca dan nilai pendidikan yang terkandung dalam novel Bangkitlah Tamban Salai Karya Yas Wiwo dan Eddy Amran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan yakni dokumen novel, identitas pengarang dan tanggapan pembaca. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) latar belakang sosial pengarang dalam novel ini berasal dari cerita masa lalu seorang kenalan Yas Wiwo yang berasal dari Dabo Singkep bernama Eddy Amran; (2) faktor sosial budaya dalam novel ini mencakup banyak sisi seperti agama, pengetahuan, pekerjaan, bahasa dan kesukuan; (3) tanggapan pembaca terhadap novel ini dinilai bervariasi, namun sebagian besar menilai positif terhadap isi kandungan di dalam novel tersebut; (4) nilai pendidikan yang terkandung dalam novel ini mencakup nilai agama yang berisi ajaran untuk senantiasa bersedekah, ikhlas dan bersyukur; nilai moral yang berisi ajaran untuk senantiasa bertanggung jawab dan nilai sosial yang berisi ajaran untuk senantiasa saling membantu sesama.
