Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan nilai-nilai moral yang berhubungan dengan keagamaan yang terkandung dalam novel Ayat-ayat Cinta Karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Selain itu juga bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan nilai-nilai moral yang berhubungan dengan kemasyarakatan yang terkandung dalam novel Ayat-ayat Cinta Karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada novel Ayat-ayat Cinta karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy terdapat nilai-nilai moral yang berhubungan dengan keagamaan dan kemasyarakatan. Nilai moral yang berhubungan dengan agama yaitu melaksanakan sholat, bersyukur kepada Allah, berdoa, membaca Al Qur’an. Nilai moral yang berhubungan dengan kemasyarakatan yaitu tolong menolong sesama manusia, hormat menghormati sesama manusia, dan kasih sayang antarsesama manusia.
