Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah mengkaji Bentuk Nomina Bahasa Dayak Banyadu (BDB). Kajian tersebut dibatasi menjadi empat yaitu: (1) ciri nomina BDB; (2) bentuk nomina dasar BDB; (3) bentuk nomina turunan BDB; dan (4) subkategorisasi nomina BDB. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Data penelitian berbentuk nomina yang terdapat dalam BDB digunakan oleh masyarakat di Desa Untang Kecamatan Banyuke Hulu Kabupaten Landak. Sumber data penelitian adalah tuturan atau bahasa lisan dari penutur asli BDB yang diwakili tiga orang informan. Berdasarkan analisis data, hasil penelitian terdiri dari ciri nomina BDB yang merupakan ciri morfologis dan ciri sintaksis nomina BDB. Berikutnya bentuk nomina BDB terdiri atas nomina bentuk dasar dan nomina bentuk turunan (penambahan prefiks pan-, pany-, pang-, pam-, dan pa-), perulangan (perulangan utuh /perulangan seluruh saja), dan pemajemukan  hanya terdapat majemuk dasar saja, sedangkan nomina majemuk berafiks tidak terdapat dalam BDB. Nomina majemuk BDB berbeda dengan nomina majemuk dalam bahasa Indonesia bahwa dalam bahasa Indonesia nomina majemuk biasanya terdiri atas dua kata, namun dalam BDB bisa tiga kata.
