Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi tutur dalam pembelajaran di kelas rendah Sekolah Dasar Negeri (SDN) 15 Sempalai. Sebuah penelitian lapangan menggunakan bentuk penelitian deskritif  kualitatif. Objek kajian adalah guru dan siswa sekolah dasar kelas rendah. Data berupa dokumen transkripsi pertuturan guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi langsung dan wawancara mendalam, selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis isi. Interpretasi data disajikan dengan mengggunakan metode informal (a natural language). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan strategi tutur yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran mengarah pada pendekatan kedwibahasaan. Pendekatan ini diterapkan guru dengan cara menggunakan Bahasa Melayu Dialek Sambas (BMDS) dan Bahasa Indonesia (BI) secara bergantian dalam pembelajaran di kelas. BI dengan kosakata sederhana digunakan ketika membahas topik-topik yang berkaitan dengan standar kompetensi dasar atau hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan buku teks pelajaran, sedangkan BMDS digunakan ketika guru dan siswa membahas topik tertentu dalam pelajaran yang berhubungan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa.
