Abstract

Pelajaran Bahasa Inggris merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang diberikan pada peserta didik jenjang sekolah menengah pertama. Dalam pelajaran Bahasa Inggris ada empat keterampilan berbahasa yang harus dikuasai oleh peserta didik yaitu keterampilan mendengarkan, berbicara, membaca dan menulis. Sebagai seorang pendidik, penulis merancang sebuah media pembelajaran berupa e-book berbasis kearifan lokal yakni kuliner Pontianak. Media pembelajaran ini diterapkan melalui pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) diyakini mampu membuat pelaksanaan pembelajaran menjadi lebih baik. Dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran ini penulis menggunakan model ADDIE sebagai sebuah model penelitian dan pengembangan yang prosedural dan sistematis.
