UPAYA PENINGKATAN KEAKTIFAN MAHASISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MELALUI METODE PRESENTASI KELAS TAHUN AKADEMIK 2016/2017 SEMESTER GENAP

Penelitian ini didasarkan oleh kesulitan mahasiswa dalam menyusun kalimat khususnya mempresentasikan suatu topik tertentu. Mereka cenderung menghafalkan isi presentasi mereka.Sehingga cara presentasi mereka sangat tidak alami dan tidak lancar. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini, bagaimanakah penerapan metode presentasi kelas pada mata kuliah sintaksis? Dan Apakah penerapan metode presentasi kelas dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah sintaksis? Metode penelitian deskriptif yang berbentuk penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research). Data penelitian ini adalah tentang proses pembelajaran mata kuliah sintaksis dan sumber data adalah mahasiswa. Lokasi penelitian IKIP PGRI Pontianak. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu studi dokumenter dan alat pengumpul data yaitu observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif komparatif dan analisis kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan antara siklus pertama dan siklus kedua. Siklus pertama terjadi peningkatan menjadi 57,6% dan siklus kedua mencapai 76,46%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan penerapan metode presentasi pada mata kuliah sintaksis dinyatakan dapat meningkatkan keaktifan mahasiswa.
