ANALISIS NILAI-NILAI MORAL DALAM CERITA RAKYAT KALIMANTAN BARAT

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan analisis nilai moral yang terkandung dalam cerita rakyat Kalimantan Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik kajian isi dengan bantuan kartu data. Berdasarkan hasil analisis terhadap enam cerita rakyat (Batu Abak Uwek, Batu Beturat, Batu Lubur, Keramat Menyabo, Kiong Kandang, dan Selangkang Tulang) dapat disimpulkan bahwa di dalam kumpulan cerita rakyat yang ada di Kalimantan Barat terkandung nilai-nilai moral yang terdiri dari dua kategori; nilai-nilai moral yang berhubungan dengan diri sendiri mencakup aspek nilai moral menghargai, dan nilai moral bekerja keras seperti yang terdapat dalam cerita (Batu Beturat, Kiong Kandang, Keramat Menyabo, dan Batu Abak Uwek). Sedangkan nilai moral yang berhubungan dengan sesama manusia mencakup aspek kerukunan, kasih sayang, dan kerjasama seperti yang terdapat dalam cerita (Selangkang Tulang, Batu Lubur, dan Batu Beturat).
