Analisis Kesulitan Membaca Teks Bahasa Inggris pada Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan dan factor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemahaman membaca mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif untuk menggambarkan kesulitan-kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa. Sebanyak 28 Mahasiswa diambil sebagai sampel untuk mengerjakan tes pilihan ganda untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahanan membaca dan angket untuk mengetahui faktor kesulitan pemahaman membaca. Peneliti menemukan bahwa kesulitan paling banyak dihadapi mahasiswa adalah dalam menentukan main idea, making inference dan detai information. Kemudian fakor kesulitan dalam memahami mambaca yang paling dominan adalah faktor psikologi.
