Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar matematika siswa setelah diajarkan menggunakan pembelajaran matematika realistik (PMR). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas VIIC yang terdiri dari 31 siswa. Data penelitian terdiri dari data motivasi siswa yang diperoleh dengan angket motivasi dan data hasil belajar siswa yang diperoleh dari hasil tes setiap akhir siklus.Setelah dilakukan pembelajaran menggunakan pembelajaran matematika realistik yang dilaksanakan di kelas VIIC semester ganjil MTsAl Hikmah Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2009/2010,dapat disimpulkan bahwa PMR dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar matematika siswa.
