PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA MENGGUNAKAN METODE DEMONSTRASI DENGAN MEDIA ANIMASI PADA MATERI KONSEP ZAT DI KELAS VII SMPN 4 PONTIANAK

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan metode demonstrasi berbantu media animasi dengan metode konvensiaonal (ceramah) yang biasa digunakan guru dalam mengajar fisika serta untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas belajar siswa yang diajar dengan metode demonstrasi animasi pada materi konsep zat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan rancangan nonequivalent groups posttest olny. Sampel berjumlah dua kelas yang dipilih dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Alat pengumpul data berupa soal tes uraian dan lembar observasi. Analisis komparatif dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji t independent sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode demonstrasi dengan media animasi lebih baik dari pada hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode konvensional. Aktivitas belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode demonstrasi dengan media animasi tergolong tinggi dan lebih bersikap dan bertingkah laku positif selama pembelajaran berlangsung.
