OPTIMALISASI DISPOSISI MATEMATIS MELALUI PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR MATERI TEORI GRUP BAGI MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA

Penelitian bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran disposisi matematis mahasiswa semestes V Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Untan, khususnya mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah Struktur Aljabar. Untuk memperoleh gambaran tersebut diterapkan melalui pembelajaran menggunakan bahan ajar hasil pengembangan. Secara khusus, tujuan penelitian adalah: (1) Mengembangkan materi bahan ajar sehingga mahasiswa memperoleh wawasan yang fokus sesuai materi yang dikembangkan; dan (2) Mengungkapkan dan medeskripsikan disposisi matematis mahasiswa melalui penerapan pembelajaran menggunakan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (development research methods) dengan komponen uji coba produk. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan angket. Teknik analisis data secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang saling melengkapi. Pembelajaran matematika yang dilengkapi dengan bahan ajar merupakan pembelajaran yang menciptakan suasana belajar efektif dan menyenangkan serta membangun sikap mental positif. Bahan ajar yang dikembangakan memfasilitasi mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan kepercyaan diri mahasiswa dalam memahami materi ajar.
