EFEKTIVITAS REMEDIASI MENGGUNAKAN BACAAN ALTERNATIF BERBENTUK REFUTATION TEXT PADA MATERI PENJUMLAHAN PECAHAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas remediasi menggunakan bacaan alternatif berbentuk refutation text pada materi penjumlahan pecahan dikelas VII SMP Negeri 14 Pontianak dengan indikator keberhasilan ditentukan oleh pencapaian hasil belajar yang tuntas secara klasikal, aktivitas siswa aktif dan respon siswa yang baik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kuantitatif dengan bentuk penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas VII dengan sampel satu kelas yang diperoleh menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan remedias imenggunakan bacaan alternatif berbentuk refutations text dikatakan efektif dengan indikator pencapaian ketuntasan belajar siswa setelah diberikan remediasi menggunakan bacaan alternatif berbentuk refutation text secara klasikal lebih tinggi dari standar ketuntasan belajar mengajar yang ditetapkan di sekolah tersebut, aktivitas siswa dikatakan aktif selama diberikan remediasi menggunakan bacaan alternatif berbentuk refutation text karena jumlah persentase siswa yang aktif selama pembelajaran berlangsung lebih dari jumlah persentase siswa yang tidak aktif., respon siswakelasVII SMP Negeri 14 Pontianak terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan bacaan alternatif berbentuk refutation textadalah positif.
