ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS MAHASISWA PADA MATERI KULIAH GEOMETRI ANALITIK DI PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA IKIP PGRI PONTIANAK

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kemampuan komunikasi matematis mahasiswa setelah menggunakan bahan ajar geometri analitik berbasis model reciprocal teaching. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika IKIP PGRI Pontianak pada semester genap tahun akademik 2014/2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester II yang telah mempelajari materi geometri analitik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata banyaknya mahasiswa yang memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematis pada mata kuliah geometri analitik diperoleh bahwa pada level 4 adalah 40,4%, level 3 adalah 17,17%, level 2 adalah 19,57%, level 1 adalah 6,7% dan level 0 adalah 16,16%. Kemampuan komunikasi matematis mahasiswa tergolong sangat kurang atau gagal dengan presentase 40,4% berada pada level 4.
